Lookup fields enable you to extend your Devi account to work for your business.
Devi by default will automatically provide you with default values for contact types such as “Limited Company” and “Sole Trader”. When you add a new contact Devi will list these default types. If you drop the select list down there will often be another option saying “Add New” giving you the ability to add new lookup records. The lookups can be maintained from your main company settings page and from the advanced menu in each retrospective area.
At anytime you can change the name of a lookup record to suit your business from the settings area.
Lookup Fields are used for many different modules in the system such as time tracking, projects, events and even leave types. For some lookup fields you may have to provide extra information such as colour.
